In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, and spices to taste. Mix well until smooth so the patties hold their shape. Form into 2 thick patties of the same size so they cook evenly. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to help them hold their shape better while frying.

Heat a frying pan or grill to high heat. Add a few drops of oil. Fry the patties for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Flip only once to keep the meat moist inside.

1–2 minutes before the burger is done, place a slice of cheese on top. Cover with a lid so the cheese has time to melt — this will add tenderness and rich flavor to the burger.

While the patties are frying, thinly slice the tomato, cucumber and onion. Cut the burger buns in half and, if desired, lightly toast the insides in a dry frying pan until golden brown.

Place lettuce leaves on the bottom of the bun to protect the bread from moisture. Then place a hot patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, onion, and cucumber. Add a little ketchup or your favorite sauce. Cover with the top half of the bun.

We have prepared a recipe that will help you prepare a juicy, flavorful burger at home — with minimal effort and maximum pleasure.
